Making its way through Melbourne’s suburbs tonight is a 372-tonne, 82-metre-wide Superload heading to the Dundonnell Windfarm near Mortlake.
The Superload, which is 80 metres long and five metres wide, cannot be passed and delays are imminent as it travels at 25 kilometres an hour.
A warning has been sent out to travellers from the Western District travelling along the Princes Highway until Sunday.
The Massive load is expected to arrive at the Windfarm around 8am on Sunday morning.
VicRoads will be helping the Superload along the journey and are urging those travelling at the same time, to plan ahead and find an alternative route.
