Myamyn Accident

Serious Injuries

Following a single vehicle accident at Myamyn yesterday morning, a teenage P-plater was flown to a Melbourne hospital with serious head injuries.

The 18-year-old driver's vehicle rolled after leaving the Princes Highway and came to a halt hitting a tree at about 8.30am.

Flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, he is now in a serious but stable condition.

Portland police Sergeant Ray Hastings says the cause may have been a dead kangaroo on the road, but that's still to be determined.
