Glenelg Shire Mayor Cr Anita Rank said Council was proud to provide ongoing support to the shire’s not-for-profit organisations and hardworking volunteers.

“These grants can be the difference to these hard-working volunteers realising their project goals. Whilst their fundraising efforts are ongoing, these funds provide security to turn plans into a reality,” she said.

“Importantly all money delivered through our grants program will be injected straight back into the local economy to support our local community groups, businesses and tradespeople.

“It is particularly pleasing to see so many applications awarded through this funding round, highlighting the many exciting projects, programs and events that are on the horizon for our Shire.”
