Portland police apprehended a man and woman after an bungled burglary attempt at a church in the sea-side town.
Portland police said two offenders tried to break in to the Seventh Day Adventist church, on Cape Nelson Road.
The attempted break-in occurred on Saturday, at about 8pm.
The man, aged in his 30s, was processed by police and charged with criminal trespass.
Also aged in her 30s, the alleged female accomplice was still to be processed, but incurred multiple charges including attempted burglary, criminal damage, attempted theft and committing an indictable offence while on bail.
