CFA's Virtual fighter fighting stair climb

As part of this year's fighter fighting stair climb, the Covid-safe event raised more than $200,000 dollars over the past month for mental health research and support.

Local emergency responders suited up in full-firefighting gear to take on the challenge.

Portland's Labrador legend, Ember, and owner Natalie Brindle stepped up to help raise funds and awareness for mental health challenge. Together the pair raised $8,221 and have completed 3,059 steps.

Acting Chief Officer Garry Cook said, CFA members embraced this year’s new-look event, which challenged participants to collectively build up to One Million Steps for Mental Health.
